it made me think back to all the times i was treated differently in school for being a jehovah's witness.
i grew up in a predominately mexican community and went to public school there from 1st-12th grade as a jw.

That promised paradise is such great huh? People put THEMSELVES through pain (My parents put me through my pain for sure) giving them more strength on saying how bad the world is. YOUR world is bad, not the world.
My mom is always talking about "Oh these days are getting worse and worse." I'm like what the hell man. There has been wars suffering disease since the dawn of time how in the hell can you say it's worse. I actually say it's better than other times on earth, sometimes worse. That's the way of the world.
God!!! I'm about to try to talk to my brother because he is a very sensible person but it's so hard sometimes. Why did the WTS have to be so crafty? It's almost demonized (Even though I don't believe in demons anymore.), it's terrible.
I use to be SOOO!!! freaking paranoid about freaking everything. I use to think demons were all around me, I could actually see demons all around me. And I cry everyday thinking that the demons are taking over me and the fact that I'm so paranoid and crying and that demons are all around me makes me cry more. No amount of praying has every solved that. My parents and nobody else can seem to realise that. It's freaking retarded GOD!!!
Guys if you can give me some tips on how I can convince my brother that the WTS is crap.
If there is a God, he wouldn't have created something so devious that people used that ruined millions maybe billions of people's lives. And if Heaven is real HE doomed a lot of humans from never even getting a chance to go to heaven. God is such crap.

ya it was hard. And JWs are the happiest people on earth? What crock. No amount of praying could help me through that terrible time. Unless I would have went TOTALLY psycho and just blocked out everything in life and would have been damaged forever. Now I have to go to the meeting right now, the thing that put me through so much pain still going to that bullcrap.
Listening to my damn parents talk about God 24/7 listening to those damn stupid kingdom songs always saying how they are right and everybody else is wrong and having them spit out their self-righteous bullshit and then they yell at me and call me demonized if I even show one bit of hostility when they've ruined my life.

Most people know my story. I think the crazy doctrine made me totally scared of the world and i threw up alot as a kid. Then I was persecuted as throw up boy more than being a JW. But I was passed the, "God knock on a door" insult a few times.

Hi Way2quik.
I'm much the same way, I get sick when I hear the stuff about how woman are lower than men. Well if you want to be a good JW you have to come to the conclusion that women are lower than men. Women must submit to the man because the man is on the higher plan to Jesus than the women are. Women had to wear head-dresses cause praying without a headdress on is disrespecting to their Male leaders.
It's a sad situation but alot of the stuff that you see in muslim places are because of those few scriputres.
It's the women then the men then jesus then God.

When you pray in tongues (basically babble gibberish), you are speaking a "heavenly language" given to you by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwelling in you knows your needs and wants, and prompts you to pray about those in your "heavenly tongue". Because you don't know what you're praying, neither does the Devil, so he won't know what hit him when your prayers are answered! Hooray!
